What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a medical system that was developed in Germany more than 200 years ago by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on “like cures like” – the notion that a disease can be cured by a substance that produces similar symptoms in a healthy person. For example, if a person has had an injury and has a bruised, swollen ankle, Arnica would be given to alleviate the bruise and swelling. Arnica in its plant form would create a bruised feeling; therefore in homeopathic potency, it would help the body to heal the bruising and swelling. Using homeopathic remedies, the body is able to heighten its vitality and clear the illness to bring the body back into a healing balance.
I am a homeopath graduated from The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine. I am also a certified holistic nutritionist, holistic health coach, and certified Reiki Master/Teacher. I am proficient in offering healing guidance all in one intake. Giving you, the patient, a more economical option to receive three modalities, (homeopathy, nutrition, lifestyle guidance) all in one appointment.
